What People Are Saying About Us...
We enjoyed having you as our son's coach very much. I was especially impressed with your focus on healthy lifestyle, which you really exemplified with your insistence on healthy snacks for the soccer games. In this day and age when they are surrounded by sugar and empty calories at every turn, it was such a pleasure to see the boys happily munching on grapes, and then going out on the field energized for the second half.

... the great thing about Andrew is that he doesn’t rest on his laurels like many trainers I have known and observed. He constantly seeks out learning opportunities, ways to improve himself and his teaching/coaching methods, ways to work the body differently for the different kind of people that we all are ... I am convinced, after having worked with Andrew for the past 4 years (with a 10 month hiatus after having a baby), that he can design an effective exercise program for ANYONE, from the novice who made a New Year’s resolution to “get more fit” to the pregnant woman, to the elite athlete.

… my clothes (as I have told you) fit and look better. Perhaps more importantly, however, is how I feel and the strength, muscle definition and even increased energy that I now have. As a true testament to my progress I have shared with many colleagues today how I went from doing 0 push-ups to more than 25 during our session yesterday (I even did some more when I got home to show my husband!). That really puts all of my progress in perspective. Thanks for helping me get to this place, and for the work that is yet to come!

ASAP Training is the result of over 20 years of study, training, and practical application. It is the brainchild of Andrew Eaton, who has coached and trained athletes participating in baseball, basketball, football, golf, hockey, soccer, tennis, and volleyball since 1991.
"I have educated both athletes and non-athletes for nearly two decades. I have also had the fortunate opportunity to work with several industry leaders in the strength and functional training fields. The common thread for all these professionals was a 'system' of training. Everyone had an established routine for training athletes. Certain movement patterns would occasionally change, but most athletes were made to fit into a systematic approach. It became clear to me that, while a system was an excellent way to teach general athletic skills, there were limitations.
I watched athletes from different sports performing the same warm-up drills, followed by the same series of exercises and motion patterns. I do not mean to imply that these athletes did not benefit from their training; to the contrary, many continued to compete at high levels. However, I couldn't help but believe that the process could be improved.
ASAP's training is different because the work is designed around the needs of the athlete, rather than simply inserting an athlete into a predetermined routine. Training each athlete like the next is like saying 'carbohydrates are carbohydrates.' The ASAP process begins with an Individual Athletic Consult with the athlete (and parents, if the athlete is a minor.) Once the IAC is complete, each athlete submits to a Performance Evaluation designed specifically for the athlete's sport. Results of the IAC and PE are combined to develop the initial phase of the athlete's training program. I do not offer 'sport-specific training.' ASAP is athlete-specific training, and the results have been phenomenal. Athletes have come to me to prepare for challenges as small as the local tennis tournament, and as large as NBA and European basketball tryouts.
Whether you are a coach or athlete, I look forward to working with you to maximize athletic potential."
