| I came to yoga in 1998 after years of athleticism. I had my third child by then and began experiencing back problems. Medical tests revealed that I had scoliosis. I decided to take yoga to help improve my condition and found more than I ever imagined! That was the beginning of my journey. My passion for fitness has taken me into the field of yoga for athletes and I am currently training with the Chicago Bears. I have integrated yoga with sports further by completing a training with Katherine Robert's Yoga for Golfers training in Arizona. See www.YogaforGolfers.com. While continuing my education, I have had the honor to learn and practice under such wonderful instructors including Anna Forrest, John Friend, founder of Anusara yoga, Manju Pattabhi Jois, Paul Grilley, and Aadil Palkhivala. |
My belief is that the practice of yoga can enhance and improve the quality of our daily lives. Our lifestyles are becoming more and more demanding and it is essential that we take time to nurture our self, our body, our mind and our spirit. In yoga you will find something different and something beneficial to your well being.
